I was busy today (as you can see in the below post), but here’s a quick overview of what happened:

  • iPhone 3G unveiled with 3G (of course), GPS, Exchange, and mobileme on Safari (see below) all for $199 for 8 GB, 16 GB is $299. The 2.0 system update that’ll have third-party apps will be pushed out early July. Free for iPhone, $9.99 for the iPod touch.
  • mobileme: mobileme will be replacing .Mac. It’ll be “Exchange for the rest of us”, with photos, email, address book, and contacts up in the cloud, pushed from a PC/Mac to your iPhone or other computer live within seconds.
  • iPhone 3G will also have a white back version, looks a little bit thicker, but not much. Comes July 11. Enterprise features are being added in the upcoming update, with Microsoft Exchange support. The iPhone will also be made available in 70 countries.
