Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser is the most popular browser for one simple reason: it comes with Windows. Internet Explorer is actually onw of the slowest and crappiest browsers ever. If you’re using Internet Explorer right now, I urge you to visit http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ tomorrow and download Firefox 3.
Mozilla launched the “Spread Firefox” campaign, and has a goal of creating a Guinness World Record for having the most browser downloads at launch. People have pledged to download Firefox 3 on the official site, and over a million have pledged to download it tomorrow.
I personally use Firefox 3 right now (the release candidate), and I love it. The new default theme makes it
more a part of your OS (whether Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux). It’s faster than IE, looks better, takes up less processing power, and is open-source, which let’s other people develop add-ons to use with Firefox. Screenshots of Mozilla Firefox 3 on all 3 OS’s are below. Remember to download Mozilla Firefox 3 tomorrow, and stop supporting Microsoft (a.k.a., the Borg).
Mozilla Firefox 3 on Windows XP:

Mozilla Firefox 3 on Windows Vista:

Mozilla Firefox 3 on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard (Works and looks the same on other versions of Mac OS X)

Mozilla Firefox 3 on Ubuntu (looks similar and works on other versions of Linux)
